Two showings: 6:00 p.m. & 7:30 p.m.

Join Friends of the Cabildo for two screenings of seven 16mm film reels from the inaugural 1970 Jazz Fest. Historian Dr. Charles Chamberlain will moderate the event and Band-in-a-Pocket will perform in sections of the film without audio. The films feature artists such as Duke Ellington, Pete Fountain, Danny Barker and Mahalia Jackson.
