Voodoo Queen Kalindah Laveaux is an authentic New Orleans Voodoo Priestess who comes from a strong lineage of traditional spiritual practices. Kalindah is an accomplished singer who honors her ancestors and spiritual linage through her music. Today Kalindah will honor those that came from the middle passage to New Orleans and Africans who were enslaved throughout the world with spirituals, call and response songs, as well as traditional jazz standards.

This event is free and open to the public, sponsored by the New Orleans Jazz National Historical Park.
