Trevarri Huff-Boone Trio

Join us at the New Orleans Jazz Museum for a performance by Trevarri Huff-Boone. This program is free and open to the public, presented by the New Orleans Jazz Museum.

ABOUT Trevarri is a Shreveport, LA native that started playing alto saxophone at the age of 8. His love and appreciation of music has guided him to pursue the dream of becoming a professional musician. While in Shreveport, Trevarri won many competitions as a kid and also played with tte church choir at the age of 12. When Trevarri was 17, he released his first Christmas album entitled "My Favorite Things".

Today, he resides in New Orleans, LA having graduated from Loyola University with his bachelor’s degree and from the University of New Orleans (UNO) with his Masters in Jazz. Trevarri has had the privilege, so far, of performing along side Jazz greats such as Chico Hamilton, Donald Harrison, Dee Dee Bridgewater, Robert Glasper, Tom Browne, Stephanie Jordan, Evan Christopher, Victor Goines, Delfeayo Marsalis, Ellis Marsalis, Rufus Reid, and many more.

Trevarri has performed at the notable Essence Festival with big musical celebrities such as P. Diddy and Solange. You can also find Trevarri playing saxophone in the notable New Orleans Jazz Orchestra (NOJO), led by jazz drummer Adonis Rose. Trevarri also performs regularly with jazz trombonist Delfeayo Marsalis and the Uptown Jazz Orchestra. Trevarri has released music on Spotify and ITunes such as  "Without My Music" and “The World is Yours (Part 1)”. More recently, Trevarri has released two new singles from his upcoming project “Shapes of Creation”. 

Trevarri was selected in 2018 to be apart of a program called "The Promising Artists of the 21st Century", which granted him an opportunity to go and perform in Costa Rica for a week. While there he performed and gave masterclasses in San Jose (Él Sotano), Limón (African Descendant Day), Cahuita (Reggae Bar), and performed/met the U.S. Ambassador to Costa Rica Sharon Day.
