The Junior Dixieland of Music School in Marianské Lázně, Czech Republic

Join the New Orleans Jazz Museum for a special international performance! This youngest jazz band of the Czech Republic consists of 8 members who are from 12 to 19 years old. The musical instruments played are: clarinet or saxophone, two trumpets, trombone, banjo, suzaphone, violinophone, drums, and vocal. The group plays classic jazz between 1920 and 1940. Currently the ensemble presents 1900 ragtime, boogie-woogie, traditional, arrangements of compositions of the big bands (Glen Miller), jazz rock, the Czech jazz music works by J.Jezek, V.Trojan, I.Mladek, and arrangements of Czech folk songs.

This event is free and open to the public, hosted by the New Orleans Jazz Museum.
