Seguenon Kone, master drummer from the Republic of Côte d'Ivoire, leads the program to commemorate 400 years since the arrival of African slaves in America. This event is just one of many activities that is taking place across the National Park System to explore African American history in 2019, 2020, and beyond.

Free and open to the public, sponsored by the New Orleans Jazz National Historical Park.
