NOLA CONNECTION is an ensemble born within the musical kermesse Spiagge Soul that for more than ten years has brought the atmosphere of New Orleans to the Ravenna coast. Thanks to the meeting between Italian and American musicians, gospel voices, wind instruments and rhythms blend in a unique concert, in the footsteps of Nick La Rocca and Louis Armstrong up to the origin of primordial jazz. The collective tries to retrace with the public the path that, through musical research, has defined one of the highest standards of multiculturalism expressed in the twentieth century.
This program is free and open to the public, presented by the New Orleans Jazz Museum.
