Singer-Songwriter Rainey Vexen born Clytemnestra Zuabbieir Scott on February 7, 1976, in Mobile, Alabama is the eldest of eleven children. She is the daughter of Arnell and Regina Scott. Rainey is the mother of four children and four grandchildren. She is also married to Lejohn Richburg lll. Rainey lives in New Orleans, Louisiana. Rainey started singing and writing songs at the age of five years old in the back seat of her parent's station wagon. Her professional career began in 2008 with her first solo album The Inauguration of Rainey Vexen. Since then she has written over three hundred songs and has five solo projects. She has a Christmas EP titled Christmas with Rainey Vexen which is currently available online for the upcoming holidays. Rainey Vexen loves to write songs about life experiences. She mainly wants to be an inspiration to others showing that they can achieve anything they put their minds to. Her message is" nothing can stop you but you. Set your goals and live your dreams”.
