The National Jazz Workshop presents the NJW All-Star Jazz Orchestra directed by Matt Niess with special guest jazz trumpeter Graham Breedlove. The NJW All-Star Jazz Orchestra is a year-round audition based ensemble consisting of young talent from the Washington, DC area. This Big Band performs  at various venues including jazz festivals, jazz clubs, and concert venues.  The band has performed with Doc Severinsen, Terell Stafford, Sal Lazano, Alan Baylock, Shawn Purcell, Graham Breedlove, Craig Fraedrich, Joeseph Henson and many others.  The Big Band is an extension of a summer workshop that takes place at Shenandoah Conservatory, George Mason University, and Duquesne University.
