The Arrowhead Jazz Band will feature special guest, New Orleans virtuoso trumpetist Ashlin Parker. A versatile jazz musician, Parker is sought after for big band, small ensemble, and solo performances. A worldwide performer and recording artist, Ashlin has led the jazz trumpet studio in the Music Department at the University of New Orleans since January 2011. To round out the performance, the band will include bass phenom Roland Guerin, Stacy Marie-Luce on vocals and “groove master” Julian Addison on the drum kit.
