Chantz R.Powell, 31-years old from New Orleans is an international recording artist and powerhouse entertainer. Singer, trumpeter, dancer, composer, and actor; Chantz Powell is one of the most interesting artists in the new generation of musicians out of New Orleans, the cradle of jazz. With a mix of influences from the schools of several generations of American musicians, Chantz is something like Sammy Davis Jr. combined with Usher. Chantz is an international recording artist and has toured extensively throughout; Europe, Asia, and in Scandinavia. When he was sixteen, he signed a contract with Decca/Universal Records and recorded the extraordinary album Stories of Me where unleashed his great talent. Chantz will be backed by some exceptionally talented musicians from New Orleans and “Day Viewing” two of his latest singles from his upcoming album.
