The New Orleans Jazz Museum is excited to host a special Dia de Los Muertos Mariachi concert with delicious food, family friendly fun, and community resources! Please join us and help us spread the word! We are also having a special presentation by El Consulado de México en Nueva Orleans.

Día de los Muertos is a celebration of life that originated in central and southern Mexico and dates back 3,000 years. In modern day celebrations, people paint their faces to look like skulls, decorating it to represent a deceased loved one or an expression of themselves.
