ABOUT Yoshitaka “Z2” Tsuji was born in Osaka, Japan. He started playing the piano at the age of 5, but his passion for jazz piano really grew when he was 18. From 2000 to 2010, he performed in Japan, Korea, and Spain, among other nations. He moved to New Orleans in May 2010. He currently has his own band and has been a member of Kermit Ruffins and the BBQ Swingers since 2012. Each year he performs at the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival, French Quarter Fest, and many other music festivals in New Orleans.
