ABOUT Originally from Metz, France, Pascal has played professionally in the US, France, Germany, Belgium and Luxembourg, being “intermittent du spectacle”. He moved to New Orleans in 2013 and instantly found what he was looking for: the blend of many influences creating a very unique music scène. Being influenced by all of the musical ingredients New Orleans has to offer, (different sounds, different genres, the organic texture of acoustic jazz), Pascal mixed these elements to achieve a sound all his own: singing and playing a music combining his favorite genres: Trad Jazz, French Classic tunes, The “Crooner” repertoire, and The American songbook.. In his most recent CD “Mélanges”, he had fun recording original compositions, combining old local classic tunes with French original lyrics, and also writing French Lyrics on instrumental jazz standards never before sung.
