Jan Ramsey

A New Orleans Original! Jan Ramsey started Offbeat Magazine and its associated entities over three decades ago as an effort to improve and expand local music culture and business. Known for her “Mojo Mouth” essays, Jan has been a music activist since the early 1980s. Jan will be undergoing treatment to battle a rare form of lung cancer and needs financial help. All funds raised from the show will go to help Jan and her husband afford the medical costs and family-living costs during this difficult time.
