New Orleans Film Festival Party & Closing Night Screening for Music Pictures: New Orleans will be on Tuesday, November 8th at 8:15 PM CST at the New Orleans Jazz Market, 1436 Oretha Castle Haley Blvd, New Orleans, LA 70113-1222.

Closing night celebrations at the Jazz Market following the screening will include special performances from the Tremé Brass Band, Little Freddie King, and Marley Marsalis, granddaughter of the late Ellis Marsalis! attendance to this is included with ticket purchase. The New Orleans Jazz Museum is sponsoring the Treme Brass Band performance for the festival.

This film gives us four legacy portraits of New Orleans music figures Irma Thomas, Little Freddie King, Ellis Marsalis, and the Tremé Brass Band. Now in their 80s, these local masters continue their practice, for the love of the music, in the city that made them who they are.

This screening will include director Ben Chace and Irma Thomas in attendance.

The closing night film, Music Pictures: New Orleans is supported by The Historic New Orleans Collection, New Orleans Jazz Museum, Recording Academy, The Dan Lucas Memorial Fund, Positive Vibrations Foundation, ABS Production, and Fisher Foundation.

Tickets are $35.00 each.
