Join us on Thursday, November 10th at 6:00 PM CST for the OffBeat 2022 Best of The Beat ™ Music Awards in the New Orleans Jazz Museum’s Decatur Courtyard.
The 26th annual Best of The Beat ™ Music Awards is back this year, after an almost three-year hiatus due to COVID. Join us this year as we honor musicians, bands, and music nominated by the local music community and voted on by the public for excellence in music in 2021 and 2022. General admission and a very limited supply of VIP tickets are available. Tickets include music, food, the awards, and a good time for all, all to honor local musicians and bands. This year our honoree for a Lifetime in Music is LITTLE FREDDIE KING.
Music will include a Tribute to Little Freddie King (2022 Lifetime Achievement in Music Recipient) with Lulu and the Broadsides plus Johnny Sansone, Sunpie Barnes and Andy J. Forest; Jon Cleary & The Absolute Monster Gentlemen; swamp-pop legend Tommy McLain and C.C. Adcock; Bo Dollis, Jr. & The Wild Magnolias; the New Orleans Baby Dolls; the Daiquiri Queens; Joy Clark Band, and many more. As usual, the Best of The Beat will offer delicious food, fun, and a lot of surprises.
Early Bird tickets are on sale through October 16, and prices for tickets go up on October 17. VIP tickets include guaranteed seating at the Jazz Museum, drink ticket, event merchandise, and free admission to the official afterparty at One Eyed Jacks, now relocated to 1104 Decatur Street.
