An Díaz & Yokatta Brothers is a blues, gospel, and roots quartet founded in 2017. An Díaz, from Argentina, met the Yokatta Brothers in northern France, and together they blend her powerful vocals with the band's roots rhythms in a mix of Blues, Boogie, Jazz, and Gospel. After releasing a few cover albums, they developed their own sound in their first studio album of original songs, which won several prestigious awards, including the first prize at the Blues Challenge at the Rendez-vous de L'Erdre festival.

The album pays tribute to each decade of Blues history, with influences ranging from the 1920s to the 1960s. The songs are deeply personal, with An Díaz reflecting on themes of joy, uncertainty, loss, and existentialism. The album is also a tribute to her sister, who passed away in 2018, making the album both a tragedy and a success. The lyrics and stories behind the songs are available on their website.
