Hispanic Heritage Month Celebration "Fermin Ceballos"

The New Orleans Jazz Museum in partnership with the New Orleans Jazz National Historical Park & NOLAxNOLA are proud to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month. Starting Friday, September 20th through Friday, November 8th, you can enjoy weekly live music performances as we honor Hispanic Heritage Month. Prepare to immerse yourself in the vibrant cultures and traditions of  Latin America through these captivating performances.  The concerts will be held inside our Education Center every Friday @ 2 PM with two special Balcony shows in the museum’s courtyard on Tuesday, September 24th & Tuesday, October 15th starting at 5:00 PM.”

Fermín Ceballos

Fermín Ceballos is a versatile artist from Jamey, Dominican Republic. A singer-songwriter, guitarist, accordionist, and producer, he moved to New Orleans in 2012 and quickly integrated into the local music scene. His album “BOCHINCHE” features a blend of Afro-Caribbean and New Orleans sounds, while his recent album “SIMPLE” showcases romantic jazz and Bossa-Nova in three languages. In 2023, Ceballos became a Grammy Voting member and was honored as a Jazz Ambassador by the New Orleans Jazz Museum, fostering cultural exchange between New Orleans and the Dominican Republic.
