Britney Chauntae is a vocalist/songwriter actress based in New Orleans all the way from Dallas! While sometimes leading her own  ensemble....Ms Chauntae  sings an array of music from jazz/funk/soul & also sits in with some of the best musicians that New Orleans & the world has to offer, such as Kermit Ruffins, Preservation Hall Jazz Band, NOJO & more recently & frequently at the New Orleans Jazz Museum which she is thankful to have musical home!!! Singing since the age of 5 years old, with early gospel influences from Mahalia Jackson, Shirley Ceasar & Kirk Franklin....later developing a love for r&b/funk & jazz. Ms Chauntae has been seen on BETs 106 & Park  and even American Idol. Britney is also an actress as well; appearing in a few movies, tv shows & theater productions.  Get ready for this electrifying evening that will honor the most honorable life that was Ms Nina Simone's!
