Mizz Lowe
Loretta “Mizz Lowe” Harris-Wilson is an American singer, songwriter, dancer, and performer known for her dynamic blend of blues, soul, and Southern R&B.
Born and raised in Greenwood, Mississippi, she first found her voice singing in church and school choirs. Her love for music was nurtured as a child listening to blues and soul legends on the jukebox at her father’s café.
Mizz Lowe has long been a key collaborator and performer with blues icon Bobby Rush — serving as lead dancer, supporting vocalist, and personal assistant — traveling the world together and contributing to award-winning projects. In 2017, she attended the Grammys as part of Rush’s team when he won Best Traditional Blues Album.
In recent years, she has stepped into the solo spotlight with her debut full-length album Classy Woman, showcasing her sultry vocal style, stage presence, and original songwriting. Widely described as a “road-toughened” artist, Mizz Lowe brings decades of experience, charisma, and musical versatility to every performance.
