This powerhouse ensemble reimagines the trailblazing music of John McLaughlin, merging original raga-inspired compositions with high-energy takes on Mahavishnu Orchestra and Shakti classics. Uniting innovative artists from across the U.S., the group channels McLaughlin’s boundary-crushing creativity and cross-cultural vision.

Led by drummer Vin Scialla, the band features Mahavishnu alum Premik Russell Tubbs (woodwinds), Anupam Shobhakar (doubleneck guitar), Neel Murgai (sitar), Joe Deninzon (violin), and Dan Asher (bass), with special guests Snehasish Mozumder, Arun Ramamurthy, and Swami Selvaganesh (kanjira/percussion).

A collective of virtuosos, they honor McLaughlin’s legendary legacy while pushing his fusion spirit into bold new territory.
