Founded in 2022 by 12 Venezuelan musicians, NolaGaita is a New Orleans–based ensemble dedicated to preserving and sharing Venezuela's rich cultural heritage through music. Featuring the traditional rhythms of Gaita de Furro Zuliana, the group celebrates the spirit of the Zulia region with joyful performances that honor its music, traditions, and stories.
Whether performing at cultural festivals or community celebrations, NolaGaita creates an authentic musical experience that brings people together through the warmth, energy, and pride of Venezuelan culture.
