Led by Ovi-G, legendary trombonist Victor Campbell, and Jafet Perez, OVJ Collective is a dynamic New Orleans–based band whose name comes from the founders behind the group's acronym. Known as the only band in the city delivering a true Spanglish musical experience, they seamlessly blend English and Spanish hits into high-energy Latin rhythms, including salsa, bachata, merengue, and reggaeton.
Born from the collaboration of acclaimed projects including Victor Campbell & The Timba Swamp, JP Band, and Ovi-G Presents Xtra Cash!, OVJ Collective transforms familiar songs into vibrant, dance-driven arrangements that unite audiences across cultures. Deeply rooted in the musical spirit of New Orleans, their sound is infused with funk, soul, and second-line traditions, creating a unique fusion that is both authentic and unforgettable.
