Community leader, advocate and friend of many, Fred J. Johnson Jr. continuously fights for the rights of his community. He is an advocate for property and housing rights, promotion of financial literacy, and spreading awareness of discriminatory policies to break the pattern of poverty in New Orleans’ black communities. On top of being the Chief Executive Director at the Neighborhood Development Foundation, Johnson is also a member of the Zulu Social Aid and Pleasure Club. Johnson’s work has left an impact within and beyond his community. He is a leader in professional development and social cultural connections.
