Founded in 1987 by director Rafelito Mirabal, Sistema Temperado brings together some of the Dominican Republic’s finest musicians. Known for their vibrant fusion of Dominican folklore, jazz, and global rhythms, the group has performed on major stages around the world and opened every jazz festival in their home country.

From award-winning pieces like “Gagayas” to the celebrated “Periblues,” their music blends tradition and innovation in a way you won’t want to miss. Most recently, their work was performed in Hamburg, Germany—now it’s your chance to hear them live in New Orleans!
