Vincent Hsu is an award-winning Taiwanese bassist, composer, and bandleader whose music blends jazz, Afro-Cuban traditions, and the rich cultural heritage of Taiwan. His acclaimed recordings have earned honors including Best Jazz Album and Best Jazz Single at Taiwan's Golden Indie Music Awards, a Global Music Awards Silver Medal, and recognition from the International Songwriting Competition.

A graduate of New York University, Hsu spent eight years in New York immersing himself in the city's jazz and Afro-Cuban traditions before establishing an international career. He has performed at leading festivals and venues across Asia, Europe, and the United States, including Blue Note New York, the Madrid International Jazz Festival, the Edinburgh Jazz & Blues Festival, and the New Orleans Jazz Museum. As founder and music director of The Jazz Supreme Orchestra and Soy La Ley Afro-Cuban Jazz Band, Hsu continues to expand the global language of jazz through original compositions, performance, and cultural exchange. This performance will be held in our third floor Performance Center. Seating is limited, so arriving early is encouraged!
