Melanie Scholtz is an educator and award-winning international performer. Scholtz continues to perform internationally and teaches vocal studies at The National Arts Festival and occasionally holds lectures at her alma mater, The University of Cape Town.

Members of the Adonis Rose Quintet include Tim Warfield on tenor saxophone, Anthony Wonsey on piano, Reuben Rogers on bass, Nicholas Payton on trumpet and Adonis Rose on drums. The group has worked together on albums such as “The Unity,” 1999.

The Jazz Foundation of America and New Orleans Jazz Museum are very pleased to have them make music together in the museum’s third floor Performance Center.
