NEW ORLEANS JAZZ MUSEUM PARTNERS WITH TITO’S HANDMADE VODKA TO HOST VIRTUAL BLACK HISTORY MONTH PROGRAMMING

[NEW ORLEANS, LA – FEBRUARY 24, 2021] – This February, the New Orleans Jazz Museum partnered with Tito’s Handmade Vodka to proudly present four virtual programs featuring leading New Orleans musicians and culture bearers in celebration of Black History Month.

“This Black History Month and everyday at the New Orleans Jazz Museum, we honor the contributions of the Black community to New Orleans,” said Director Greg Lambousy. “We are excited for individuals to learn more about New Orleans music from celebrated New Orleans musicians and culture bearers.” 

The Jazz Museum’s Black History Month programming included performances by Bruce “Sunpie” Barnes and the Louisiana Sunspots (2/2), Gregg Stafford (2/9), Wendell Brunious (2/22), and Mark Braud (2/23).
