Part of the National Park Foundation’s Open Outdoors for Kids Hybrid Learning Grant Program, the $30,000 will be used to create a digital field trip component for the New Orleans Jazz Museum called New Orleans Cultural & Musical Connections: Culturally Responsive Field Trips for 4th – 8th Grade Students in a Digital World. Open OutDoors for Kids creates pathways for kids to enjoy, understand and connect in exciting ways by facilitating outdoor activity, experiential learning, and cultural heritage exercises.
