This concert features the Brian Quezergue R&B Revue, performing a special musical tribute to Brian’s father, legendary arranger and composer Wardell Quezergue. Brian Quezergue is a sought-after New Orleans bassist who skillfully performs a variety of music genres. He has performed with the likes of the Wild Magnolias, Kidd Jordan, the late Alvin Batiste, Clyde Kerr Jr., and many others.
He has served as the bassist for St. Peter Claver Catholic Church since 1994. He is currently a music instructor for Firstline Schools. Brian received his undergraduate degree in instrumental music education from Southern University at New Orleans, and his master’s degree from the University of New Orleans. Mr. Quezergue is currently recording his next album, with a tentative release this fall. His 2010 release, Reflections, is available on digital platforms.
