The New Orleans Jazz Museum and Jazz Foundation of America present a performance featuring Storyville Stompers on Wednesday, August 2nd at 2:00 PM CDT.

This program takes place inside our third floor Performance Center, listening room. Admission is free and open to the public, seating is limited and offered first come, first serve.

Storyville Stompers

The Storyville Stompers Brass Band, established in 1981, plays New Orleans music in the traditional style, a music considered the foundation for Jazz. The Storyville Stompers perform regularly in and around New Orleans at weddings, second line parades, conventions, festivals, concerts, airport greetings, receptions, parties, and any other function that warrants celebration. The band also performs at jazz funerals.

The Storyville Stompers have been enjoyed by audiences of all ages in Asia, Europe, South America, across the U.S., and at sea.  The Stompers also perform regularly at the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival, the French Quarter Festivals, New Orleans, Satchmo Summer Fest, New Orleans, Great American Brass Band Festival, Danville, Ky, Sugar Fest, Baton Rouge, LA. and numerous others overseas. The band has also performed in movies and on national TV.
